As initially announced in Summer 2011, the NPMail system has been permanently shutdown.
Students: Student email is now Hawkmail, the hosted by Google Apps. Students can access Hawkmail by going to http://www.newpaltz.edu/hawkmail or by clicking the Hawkmail link on the New Paltz website.
Faculty & Staff: Faculty & Staff use Zimbra for email.
You can get to Zimbra via https://zmail.newpaltz.edu
or via the Zimbra link on New Paltz home page.
Note: Faculty & Staff that have chosen to have their email forwarded
to a personal, off-campus email account do not need to change
anything.
Emeritus/retired Faculty & Staff: Emeritus Faculty & Staff have been switched to Hawkmail or have their mail forwarded to their personal email account (whichever they requested)
